Sessions and starting points

Beginning the work

What happens during a one-on-one session?

We begin with what is most present for you and what you want help understanding, working through, or changing. From there, the session is shaped around what seems most useful in the moment. That may involve conversation, deeper reflective or somatic work, practical integration, or supportive tools such as Reiki or the Biomat. You remain an active part of deciding the pace and direction of the work.

How do I know where to begin?

You do not need to choose a service on your own. A free 30-minute Clarity Session gives us room to talk through what is happening, what you are looking for, and what kind of support, if any, makes sense. If you already know that what you need most is simply some time to slow down, rest, or reconnect, one of the gentler standalone services can also be an easy place to begin.

What can I realistically expect?

You can expect honest conversation, clear scope, and support shaped around what you are working through and what we decide together is most useful. A restorative experience may help you slow down, settle, or reconnect with yourself. Deeper patterns usually take participation, repetition, and time to understand and change. The goal is greater awareness, more choice, and meaningful movement in your life, not a guaranteed outcome or timeline.

How quickly should I expect change?

There is no universal timeline. Sometimes a single experience creates a useful shift or gives you something you needed in that moment. Other concerns involve patterns that have been developing for years and benefit from more consistent work. The pace depends on what you are working through, your circumstances, and what happens between sessions. Regular support can make it easier to notice patterns, work with them as they arise, and build from one session to the next.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. Virtual Transformation Sessions are also available. In-person sessions are held in West Warwick, Rhode Island.

Services and scope

Understanding the different kinds of support

Is this therapy or medical treatment?

No. Healing with Ryan provides wellness services, not psychotherapy, medical treatment, diagnosis, prescribing, or crisis care. These services can be used alongside licensed medical or mental-health care when appropriate, but they are not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.

How do the different kinds of support fit together?

I work from a whole-person perspective rather than treating one part of what you are experiencing in isolation. Depending on what is going on, support might include deeper one-on-one work, connection and shared experience through Cacao Gatherings, Reiki or Biomat support for slowing down and settling physically, or looking at existing lab work and physiological factors that may be worth paying attention to. Most people will not use all of these. They are different ways I can support you depending on what is happening and what seems most useful.

What psychedelic journey options are available?

There are two options depending on whether we are already working together. The $700 Guided Psychedelic Journey Add-On is a 6–7 hour journey day for established clients who already have an active preparation and integration relationship with me. The $1,000 Psychedelic Journey Package is available to new and established clients and includes one preparation session, the 6–7 hour guided journey session, and two integration sessions afterward.

Is there anything I should do before a session?

If there is anything specific you need to do beforehand, I will let you know before your appointment. For Cacao Gatherings, check the event page for the location and any details about what to bring or how to prepare. For one-on-one or specialized services, I will let you know if any information or preparation would be helpful.

Where are in-person sessions held?

All in-person sessions are held at 328 Cowesett Ave, Suite 7, West Warwick, Rhode Island. Some events may be held at a different location. Check the individual event page for the current location and details.

Memberships and payment

Policies and recurring support

What is the difference between a single session and a membership?

A single session is a standalone service at the regular rate. Session-based memberships include four sessions every four weeks at a reduced package rate. They are designed for people who want to make regular support, rest, or deeper work part of their routine rather than scheduling one session at a time. The Transformation Membership also includes two Cacao Gatherings, email integration support between sessions, and reduced member rates for Functional Lab Review and Comprehensive Text + Voice Support.

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

Payment for a single session is due at the conclusion of the appointment. You may cancel or reschedule a single session without charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments without notice are subject to a $25 late-cancellation fee. Exceptions may be made for emergencies at my discretion. Membership appointments do not have an additional late-cancellation charge, although membership sessions still need to be used within the four-week cycle they belong to.

How does the four-week membership cycle work?

Membership begins when you enroll and renews every four weeks rather than once per calendar month. Session-based memberships include four sessions during each four-week cycle, so most people use about one session each week. Because the membership renews every four weeks, there are 13 four-week billing cycles in a full year rather than 12 monthly billing cycles.

What happens to unused membership sessions?

Membership sessions need to be used during the four-week cycle they belong to and do not roll over into the next cycle. If you cannot use a session, you are welcome to gift it to someone else as long as they use it before your current cycle ends.

Can I cancel a four-week membership?

Yes. There is no minimum commitment. Cancel before your next renewal and your membership will end when your current paid four-week cycle ends. Payments are non-refundable and are not prorated once a new cycle begins. For deeper ongoing work, I generally recommend giving it about 12 weeks, or three four-week cycles, when possible. That gives us enough time to build momentum, follow what happens between sessions, and see what begins to change. That is a recommendation, not a requirement.

Your next step

Still not sure where to begin?

You do not need to figure it out from a webpage. A free 30-minute Clarity Session gives us room to talk through what is going on, what you are looking for, and whether there is a way I can meaningfully support you.
